Know all men by these presents that we, John Bush and Mary Bush, his wife, of Homeowrth, Ohio the Grantors for the consideration of Five Hundred Dollars. $500.00 received to our full satisfaction of Thomas Malone, the Grantee, do give, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said grantee, his heirs and assigns, the following described premises: Situated in the Township of Knox, County of Columbiana, and State of Ohio and known as Part of the South West Quarter of Section 29, Township 17, Range 5.
{Pt. S.W. ¼ Sec. 29, Tp. 17, Rg. 5} Beginning 13 chains and 16 links {13.16} North of the South West corner of said South West quarter, section, A.K.A. Post. Thence, East 5 chains and 97 links {E. 5.97} to the Clev. And Pitts. Rail Road. Thence, North 3.5 degrees West {N 3 ½ W} 5 chains and 11 links {5.11} Thence, West 5 chains and 77 links {5.77} to the section line. Thence, South with the section line 5 chains and 11 links {5.11} to the place of beginning. Containing 3 Acres {3A} of land.

To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns forever. And we, the said Grantors, do for ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators covenant with the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these presents we were well seized of the above described premises as a good and indefeasible estate in fee simple, and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as above written: that the same free and clear from all encumbrances whatsoever. And that we will warrant and defend said premises with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns forever, against all lawful claims and demands whatsoever. And I the said Mary Bush, wife of said John Bush, do hereby remise, release and forever quit=claim unto the said Grantee, and his heirs and assigns, all my right and title of Dower in the above described premises.

Before me, a Notary Public, in and for said County, personally appeared the above named John and Mary Bush, who acknowledged that they did sign and seal the foregoing instrument, and that the same is their free act and deed.
I further certify, that I did examine the said Mary Bush separate and apart from her said husband, and did, then and there, make known to her the contents of the foregoing instrument, and upon that examination she declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal, and acknowledge the same, and that she was still satisfied therewith.
